Carriage rides near Columbus Circle

You board on Central Park South, a short urban walk from the circle — not in the circle itself.

If you are staying near Columbus Circle, your private carriage still meets on Central Park South & 7th Avenue. Walk along the park’s southern edge toward 7th Avenue and follow your confirmation. Columbus Circle is also the last stop on the published classic loop, which is why many rides return you to the southwest corner of the park.

Visitor considerations

The circle is busy with traffic, subway exits, and plaza crowds. Give yourself extra minutes. Do not rely on a rideshare dropping you at the monument as a substitute for the emailed pickup description.

Lincoln Center is further north on the west side and is not a carriage depot. If you are coming from a performance, travel south to 59th Street rather than expecting a park-west pickup.
