How the experience works

You book online, receive confirmation, and arrive about 10 minutes early at Central Park South & 7th Avenue (59th Street). Your coachman meets you at the pickup described in the email. After boarding, the ride follows the loop associated with your package. Shorter tours stay closer to the southern park; longer tours add mid-park and west-side landmarks.

Carriages are open-air with covers. In cooler months, blankets are provided. Light rain usually does not cancel a ride. For severe weather, the team offers a reschedule or refund according to the tour policy.

What you can expect to see

The Mini Tour, at about 25 minutes, covers The Mall and Bethesda Terrace. Almost all packages pass Bethesda Fountain and Terrace. Bow Bridge is featured on the 45-minute Elite tour, the 1 Hour Park and City Tour, and the Proposal Tour — not on the Mini Tour. The interactive tour guide lists 19 stops on the classic loop, including Wollman Rink, the Carousel, Sheep Meadow, Strawberry Fields, and Columbus Circle on the full route.

Photo pauses depend on the package. The Proposal Tour includes one scheduled photo stop. The 1 Hour Park and City Tour includes multiple stops. On other rides you can request an extra photo stop when booking, and the coachman will pause only where it is safe.
