What you can see on a Central Park carriage ride

Stops depend on the package. This page summarizes the live tour-guide facts rather than promising a custom route.

The Mini Tour covers The Mall and Bethesda Terrace. Almost all packages pass Bethesda Fountain. Bow Bridge is on the 45-minute Elite, 1 Hour Park and City, and Proposal tours — not the Mini Tour. The full classic loop in the tour guide lists 19 stops, including Wollman Rink, Strawberry Fields, Sheep Meadow, and Columbus Circle. Every listed route starts and ends on Central Park South.

Short loop

If you only have about 25 minutes, expect the southern ceremonial landscape: The Mall and Bethesda Terrace, with Bethesda Fountain on nearly every package. You will not reach Bow Bridge on the Mini Tour.

Longer classic loop

Longer rides add Bow Bridge, Cherry Hill, the Lake, and more of the west side. Strawberry Fields is stop 15 on the full route, across from the Dakota at West 72nd Street. Belvedere Castle is mentioned among landmarks added on longer rides such as the Signature, Royal Elite, Rockefeller lights, and Proposal packages.

Photo stops

Scheduled photo stops are part of the Proposal Tour (one stop) and the 1 Hour Park and City Tour (multiple). Other rides may allow a requested pause if you note it at booking and the coachman can stop safely.
